| Comments: |
A nice sunny start, then the sky turned grey, but still had nice visibility. Webster-Jackson Trail to the summit of Mt. Jackson was well-packed and bare-bootable (I suppose it depends on your tolerance), though most people wore microspikes. The final few pitches near the summit would be good with microspikes.
From Mt. Jackson over to Mt. Webster snowshoes would have been ideal in the powder and drifts, but it was light and passable in microspikes.
From Mt. Webster down to the junction of the Webster-Jackson Trail things were a bit soft, but starting to get firmer. |
