Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The tributary crossing on the Ammo was easily rock hoppable. The crossing at Gem Pool was bridged, but be cautious, there was some breaking as I crossed. At the end of the Jewell Link, the crossing has a log which was covered in about 6 inches of packed snow and ice. The log is high above the water, and water was significant. I was not confident walking across so I hugged the log and did a full body crawl against the log. Thankfully nobody was watching :)
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes:
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: No doggos on the trail today. I only saw two very well known doggos about to head up as I was in my car getting ready to leave. They were heading up for sunset...with their humans of course :)
Bugs
Bugs: None
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: I lost my sunglasses. They are aviators, not an expensive brand name, but I do love them, and I feel badly about leaving something on the trail. I am estimating that I lost them on the Jewell, maybe a little before the foot bridge. Hopefully somebody found them and got them off the trail Nothing found.

Comments
Comments: For the Ammo, Crawford Path, Monroe Loop, and Gulfside, the report from @rocket21 today is spot and awesome detail (and I had the pleasure of meeting him out there today!) The Jewell had a lot of unpacked powder towards the top, less further down, but still not packed. There is one small part of the trail that had about 5 blow downs. All easy to step over (or climb over). I wore Hillsound Trail Crampons all day, and they were perfect. Many out there today were in spikes and were fine. With the snow from last night, I am sure that conditions have changed. It was a stellar day out there, and met some really nice folks!
