We still had a little bit of time left after finishing Lone Oak Trail, so Part 3 of our redlining adventures today involved driving up to Littleton to hike Kilburn Crags Trail. The trail was wide and obvious the whole way, and mostly just had a dusting of snow, though there were a couple small icy sections. No traction was necessary, and no one we saw used it.
The view of Littleton was very nice, but even nicer was Mt. Washington looming over it from above. The Franconia Range and the Cannon Mountain ski area were also visible, as were the Twins. It was a perfect way to end the day. Thanks so much Diane for joining me on these hikes! |
