Comments
Comments: A planned "short" day got much longer but still great! Planned on doing an out and back on the new Eastman Brook Tr. but the day was so nice made it a loop. Conditions varied greatly. We bare booted from car up to about half way up Doublehead Tr. Put on microspikes and stayed in them until about halfway down Mt. Percival Tr. From Doublehead, Crawford-Ridgepole junction we followed one set of prints but that was it. There was winter snow on the ridge though consolidated so perfect conditions. The lone hiker ahead of us did go to bare boots part way to Percival.
