There's no better way to ring-in the new year than a hike with friends! Trail conditions varied between dry in the beginning, with snow and ice occurring in greater amounts as the hike went on. All snow, or what there is of it, is well-packed and snowshoes are unnecessary as of this writing. Microspikes are highly encouraged, and it would be prudent to bring crampons just in case. An unbelievably clear day, with great weather, is hopefully a sign of things to come for 2021. |
