The trail is in very good condition. Down low, it is scratchy with some snow over rocks. I used spikes and was fine the entire way to the hut. |

| Comments: |
My hike was actually first thing Thursday morning New Year's Eve. I saw 6-8 other hikers, including two who were headed up OBP to complete the ridge and down Falling Waters. They had very limited gear. Lafayette was completely cloud covered so I think they may have had a tough hike. The trail is in very good condition for no snow and so much rain. Beautiful views along the way as the clouds were high enough. |
