Plenty of water below treeline; above treeline, water was flowing pretty well in the Raymond Cataract (Alpine Garden Trail) and the small feeder spring to Lakes of the Clouds. Water is also available at the Lakes of the Clouds Hut. |

Bugs were only a minor issue below treeline. Above treeline, plenty of stiff breezes kept them at bay all day. |

| Comments: |
Trails were almost completely dry, but on Lion Head Trail below treeline, the trail was wet/slippery/muddy in all of the usual places. In the Alpine Garden, all around the summit cone, and on Ball Crag and Nelson Crag, early flowers (Diapensia, Lapland Rosebay, Alpine Azalea) have pretty much gone by. However, there are plenty of Alpine Bluets, Bog Laurel, Bunchberry, Mountain Avens, and Labrador Tea. |
