Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: No issue parking at Crawford Connector lot. Gate on Mt. Clinton Road was open in the morning and the afternoon. Looks like fresh tire tracks on the road as well.

Surface Conditions: Ice - Blue, Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Ice - Breakable Crust, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular

Water Crossing Notes: No issues.

Trail Maintenance Notes: One blowdown that has a track established around it.

Dog-Related Notes: Saw a few pups today, all seemed to be enjoying life.

Comments: Leave the snowshoes at home.

Lots of ice, most of it soft, coating the trail. Highway starts about 3700’.

The hard packed conditions made for quick travel up and down. Make sure your spikes are sharp. Poles don’t hurt either.
