Comments
Comments: The road walk is a breeze; just a dusting on top of the dirt road. Barebooted the road walk.

Didn't put my microspikes on until approximately 3 miles into the Signal Ridge Trail; took them off on the descent maybe a mile from the trailhead.

There is a decent amount of packed snow once you get to the steep climb up Carrigain. Footing was generally good, not too many rocks, and the ice wasn't too bad. The exposed ridge was free of snow in places.

No need for snowshoes today.

One car in the parking area when I arrived; lot was full by the time I got back. Observed a lot of other full parking areas on Route 302 in Crawford Notch and near Zealand Road.
