Great day on my most difficult winter hike yet. Very easy going up to Lonsome Lake and the hut. Areas of Fishin Jimmy's trail had thick ice with a light dusting of snow over everything. Around 0.6 miles from the summit the most difficult section was very steep, loads of ice, and some of the intentional created steps were hard to use. On the way back down I fell ones in the top quarter mile but that was our only fall of the day. |
