Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The first water crossing was high, but doable with some thinking. Water levels are getting lower so an exposed rock/barely above the water was key for the second crossing.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: One stepover blowdown on Mt Tom Spur and one duck under [need chainsaw] on Avalon between Avalon and the intersection with A-Z Trail. All manageable.

Comments
Comments: Blustery but beautiful hike of these three peaks. Micros on from start to finish with only trace amounts of snow down low to a few inches on the Willey Range Trail...no need for snowshoes. Winds were high as well as with some snow squalls with low visibility. I crossed paths with several other hikers today enjoying this day. Mt. Avalon trail from Willey Range junction to AZ is getting icy in some of the steeper sections requiring MicroSpikes, grabbing branches and some unintentional butt sliding.
