Comments
Comments: Brisk hike up to Mt Shaw. Trail conditions vary widely. Down low is bare earth, then patches of snow and ice, running water on the trail, then packed powder. When you get to the Black Snout Trail, it's packed out but choppy from postholers. Used micros above 2000'. Lost a hillsound somewhere coming down.
