 | Comments: |
Old Mountain Erode retained some snowpack after the Christmas deluge. Some ice mixed in, as well as areas of running water (in part due to the destruction of two rock waterbars earlier this year) and muck.
Crawford Ridgepole only had a dusting of snow (from yesterday) and very little ice.
Squam Lake still has open water, but does have ice as well.
I wore rock spikes roundtrip, though the ridge could have been barebooted. Snowshoes will be superfluous until we get more snow. |
