Comments
Comments: Terrific morning jog/hike. Hadn't done the Peninsula Trail around the peninsula between the boat ramp and the beach in quite some time - it is about a mile long and quite nice - no real rocky sections - perfect if you don't want to pay too much attention to falling and can just enjoy the views to the Sugarloafs and islands. From there I headed up to Little Sugarloaf then Big Sugarloaf then looped around the back (west) side of Goose Pond. No traction needed and no real ice until a short section of sno-mo trail on the backside of Goose Pond where I slid and crashed. Could easily have done some wrist damage but did not - yay! Mostly frozen leafy ground with a few spots of ice and frozen snow.
