| Comments: |
Temps around 27. Very comfortable temp below treeline. Above treeline, clear day, but windy and cold. Very light snow first 5 miles. Deeper and icy as you ascended. Recent rain knocked snow levels down, but left it hard and icy. Easy to navigate with microspikes. Some postholes, but you could avoid them. Snaow was hard enough to avoid making new ones, if you stayed on trail. No snowshoes needed. |
