So to ressurect the ghost(pepper) of my prior trip report in April... abscence surely makes the heart grow fondue.
Queso, you honestly could not have asked for a cheddar day. It was like hiking in a snowglobe of very fine parmesan cheese. I did not hike provolone, luckily had a few friends join in. They all needed the Cheese for their W48 and I needed it for December, so it was a grate choice. We cut the first slices of about 3" of fresh powder - most of which had notable bleu ice underneath. After yesterday's Garfield adventure, I was elated to see the trails in much feta shape today. The only thing of note along all trails was my arch neme-swiss, frozen mud and running water under the ice. It was the worst cookies and cream ive ever tasted. No Muenster views today, but the views along Bunnell curd kill! The ice curtains and rime ice was un-brie-lievable. Spikes car to car, and likely that's all you need for a few days. It's been a while since I camembert the trails in such gouda shape for zoom zoom speeds. It was absolutely a mozzerhella good day. I am sorry if my terrible dad pun trip report is nacho thing... but what the havarti would you expect? I challenge you to write a feta trip report. |
