One big blowdown on Piper Mountain Trail about .8 miles up. Will need to be delimbed. |

Total mixed bag of trail conditions today. Donned rock spikes from the start. Did not need them on Orange Trail until maybe .3 miles from the summit. After that, all trails were a mix of bare, ice, snow, and running water. No point in taking spikes on and off. Just wear your crappy spikes, and you’ll be fine. |
