Comments
Comments: Great hike. In spite of the rain and warm weather yesterday, the conditions were fine as long as you wear spikes. No running water in this loop trail to speak of. Lots of exposed rocks though along certain sections. We did the on again, off again routine with our spikes, mostly coming off of Lafayette summit along sections of OBP. Probably could have left them on the whole way. Sections of disintegrating monorail helped with traction. Pretty windy along the ridge. Limited views from low cloud cover. Overall we lucked out on the weather conditions and it was a good day to hike.
