The entire trail is a river, 1 big crossing we went up stream to find a better place to cross. Wear fully waterproof boots and gaiters are a must! So much water |

We had 2 with us they did great. Needed a little guidance on the big river crossings due to currents being higher than usual |

It was like hiking upstream. In spring. But then it would be winter again. & back to spring. I took my microspikes on and off about 6 times. No snowshoes needed, we left ours in the car. Lots of water on the trail. Ice patches. Be careful on the wet rocks some of it looks like water but is ice. Always a fun day in the mountains. |
