Water water everywhere after the Christmas day deluge. I cycled through bare boot, microspikes, and snowshoes. An inflatable kayak and PFD might have been just as effective for these conditions. Standing waves in the trail in the Engine Hill area. Patchy snow up higher, underlain by deep cold puddles... |
