There were a lot of river crossings and the water was deep and fast-moving due to all the rain there's been the past couple days. Some balance required, you may want to bring extra socks. |

We met one family with dogs that only got half-way up because their dogs couldn't cross the rivers. |

Beautiful hike- even on a cloudy day. Almost the entire trail was covered with a layer of thick ice. We wore micro-spikes the entire time and I wouldn't recommend hiking this one without traction. The final 3/4 mile up to the peak is super steep and icy, lots of rock exposed and some trickling water. |
