Comments
Comments: Blustery day, mostly sunny. Trail was wet from recent high temps and rain. Previous base is icy and hardpacked. Recommend light traction. AFM Trail maintains more snow although hard packed and light traction is sufficient. RG Trail has sections that require fancy footwork to avoid large puddles and mud. Sections of all three trails have some overgrowth of thorny bushes, that although recently trimmed could use some more maintenance. On the summit, beautiful views of the majority of the Belknap range from the Southeastern aspect.
