Trail was mostly running water, though this changed to standing water on the ridge. I wore beater microspikes and brought snowshoes with me but didn’t need to use them; the trail was too bare for snowshoes, and the slushy monorail supported my weight without postholing. Stream crossings were lively today, and I didn’t see anyone else on the trail or summit. |
