Parked in the lot below the one directly across from the trailhead at Waterville Valley Ski Area. Get here early on a good weather day if you want prime parking. |

Both major crossings were partially covered by ice; the parts that weren’t were easily rock hopped. |

No major issues- trail was in great shape. |

| Comments: |
Aside from scattered small areas of exposed rock, the route had continuous snow coverage and was well packed from base to summit. Light traction did the trick- snowshoes got a free ride. Those conditions won’t be around for much longer with the incoming rain, unfortunately. Hopefully people hike responsibly this weekend and don’t get themselves into iffy situations. |
