Crawford Path, Crawford Connector

The Crawford Path to Pierce was well travelled and beaten down, could be barebooted. But micros were helpful with a couple of icy spots. Encountered a few descending hikers that had opted to skip Eisenhower because of the windy conditions on the exposed summit. The Crawford Path Connector (ridge) to Eisenhower was not as well travelled and was a mixed bag of conditions, bare rocks, icy spots and snow drifts. The path was easy to follow but the wooden pathways were not always obvious under the snow and a step off resulted in knee/thigh deep snow. Met a couple of like minded hikers to Eisenhower that also thought the blue sky and sunny day trumped the windy conditions.
