Comments
Comments: Decided to try to do the hike from this starting point instead of the normal Fox Forest headquarters.
Glad I did, when I got to the tower, the Ridge Trail from the headquarter direction had not seen any traffic since the big snow storm.
The Molly Jackson Road(unplowed) from Center St. has seen a lot of traffic. I took a right at the junction with the Ridge Trail following
only one other set of snowshoe tracks up to the tower. From there I took the Monroe Hill Trail(same one set of tracks) over to the other of
the side of the Ridge Trail. Still only one set of tracks until I got to an unlisted set of tracks on the right that looked like it came from
North Road. Looks like locals may have their own little connector. From there back to the junction it was heavily traveled. Made for a nice
little 1 mile loop.
