Comments
Comments: Bare-booted start of Shelburne Trail along old road where snow layer was thin and sticky. Switched to snowshoes as we started to climb and remained in them until Rattle River Shelter where we switched to microspikes for last few miles. Everything else had a few inches of powder. We broke out bushwhack to Howe Peak and Kenduskeag Trail to intersection with Rattle River Trail. Rattle River Trail to Mount Moriah was already broken out so is well packed now.
