Well we started up around 2pm to catch sunset on the first day of winter. We so a few groups on their way down with spikes on. Us 3 all had one spikes because televators are a god sent for anything steep. When we got to the outlook there was some undercast a small amount of color. Unfortunately the peak was trying to stay in the clouds. We met a ski patrol closing out the mountain which confirmed the no sunset viewing tonight but we headed up to the tower for a bite to eat. We then put our headlamps on and headed back down the way we came. Good day out, maybe catch the sun another time. |
