Comments
Comments: Garfield Tr and Garfield Ridge Tr to Garfield summit are well tracked out by many hikers, firm enough for barebooting or spikes at the moment, though some wore snowshoes. We definitely needed some traction for the 0.2 mi steeps on Garfield Ridge Tr to the summit. Hillsounds worked fine-it was snow-covered with some ice showing beneath the snow. Mild temps, only light winds with a magical undercast for us on the summit. Excellent Solstice hike with great friends - can't beat it.
