Parked at end of Gale River Loop Road. Two vehicles on arrival-four on return. *Please don't park in front of Forest Service gates.. it could save a life.* Summons was issued. |

Trail in great shape with a nice track started with about 2" of unpacked powder on top |

Beautiful hike of Mt Garfield. No views today but definitely a winter wonderland. Barebooted till after crossings then snowshoes to the summit and back to the chariot. It was nice crossing paths and chatting with two fellow Gridders. |
