Looks like this trail received heavy use since last week's snowstorm, by and large with snowshoes. There are two to three distinct snowshoe trenches in many places (trail is wider after recent logging), so a sole barebooter's posthole damage was generally avoidable. Snowshoes or skis needed. Noted ski tracks on the clockwise route (from the boat launch parking lot).
Generally about 2 feet of powder, with another inch that fell over night. Nice sunrise out of the fog, just before the end of calendar fall. |
