Comments
Comments: From vehicle, we walked a short distance up Cates Hill Rd. to the power lines. Followed power lines NE until they turned to the E where we started bw N to summit in open hardwoods.
Summit area is rather flat and has several buildings. We eventually found a fir tree with a string around it which appeared to be a highpoint. Tree located near 2 small buildings at the N end of summit approx where the access road reaches summit area. Great views to the S and W throughout this short hike.
Breaking effort - 2-4" powder on a supportive base.
Grades - easy
