If your dog likes deep snow, go for it. Just make sure they can handle winter conditions. It’s generally an easy hike. It’s just that the storm buried everything. |

People, the area got over 20 inches of snow... WEAR YOUR SNOWSHOES!
I spent the morning breaking out to the summit. On return, I ran into 2 couples without snowshoes.... All that work for nothing.
Beautiful half day in the woods. This hike is a great starter for snowshoeing. Can be made into a 5 mile loop. I enjoyed it very much. |
