Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Road was plowed, but the parking lot was not. We had to dig a spot for our car. A few other cars in the lot by the end of the day, so it may be ok to just back into a spot by tomorrow morning with no issues.

Comments
Comments: Wore snowshoes out and back given the recent snowfall, and being the first ones on the trail. Only about 4 or so inches down low with more higher up.

First mile or so was a breeze. Once the trail starts to climb, the rocks and roots weren’t quite covered fully, which made it a little difficult in snowshoes. A few other spots in the last half mile or so to the tower that were a little tricky with exposed rocks. On the ledges, we were glad to have snowshoes, as we could see and feel ice under the snow. Some areas of deep snow as you approach the fire tower.

Saw a few other groups on our way down - some with snowshoes and some just in spikes.
