Comments
Comments: Followed a bare booter up to the AZ junction (they went up towards Avalon). Broke trail from there - much easier breaking trail with snowshoes than following the bare booters lumps. Trail had 4-5 inches of new snow down low, and maybe 6 inches up high with drifts. Trail was unbroken towards Field. Coming down, I saw a of couple people, all wearing snowshoes, which made for a pleasant decent - thank you! A winter wonderland for sure with beautiful snow laced trees! The trail is still soft, so for the love of the Snow Gods, if you plan to hike this weekend, please wear snowshoes!
