Comments
Comments: Snowshoe season is here.

Old Mountain Road and Crawford Ridgepole had been skied, but were otherwise unconsolidated. Generally 1 to 2 feet of powder, trending to the former in the areas with running water/wind and the latter otherwise. I was able to set a decent snowshoe track, but it is soft. Please do not bareboot/Microspike this and destroy it.

Heard anecdotally that there was 3 feet of snowpack nearby. Ice starting to form on Squam Lake.
