| Comments: |
Crawford Path is generally in great shape once you get beyond the lower fifth of the trail. The lower trail has a great surface interspersed with short ice flows or areas of frozen post holes. The rest of the trail is smooth sailing, with most rocks and roots covered. Spikes were very helpful, with Hillsound type larger spikes providing better traction than micro spikes. The short path from the sign to the summit was quite icy. We wore spikes the whole day. |
