Comments
Comments: I wore spikes round-trip, but don't bring your best pair as there is still plenty of bare ledge and rock to wreck them. Winslow was relatively light on ice (for a change), but upper Barlow had more. The summit ledges are mainly bare with some frozen areas. The access road was packed snow and ice. The ascent up Winslow wasn't too bad, but the upper portion of Barlow was somewhat tedious to descend -- the snowpack had been chopped up pretty good and then frozen in place. Use caution here as it would be easy to twist an ankle or knee. This week's incoming storm will hopefully fill in the holes more.

Views forever today in the clear air. Cold with the wind, but countered by the bright sun. Nice to run into Joe again up there and thanks for the company on the way down.
