The trail alternated between snow and slush and rocks. I wore my snowshoes the whole time just because it is annoying to take them on and off again, and they weren't too much trouble. The snow is not yet deep enough to cover the rocks, so for much of the trail, every step must be negotiated, as in summer. It was especially wet at the summit. |
