The crossing on Webster branch was a nightmare. Someone else posted that they saw it and turned back (I was not as smart) I biffed it mid-cross and broke a pole. After that I turned back instead of going for Jackson. |

| Comments: |
The trail below the junction stinks. It’s a mix of icy rock, slush, mud, bare rock. It was warm today so the melting made it worse. The small section beyond the junction to the water is not well broken out. I used snowshoes down and back but someone else bare booted and it’s blah. Sorry I don’t have more for the higher elevations. I hit elephant head spur on the way out, it’s not well broken out. |
