Parking/Access Road Notes: skiers were out today. arrived at lot at 9a. parked in lot below trail head as the lot directly across from trail head was full.

Surface Conditions: Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Snow - Wet/Sticky

Recommended Equipment: Light Traction

Water Crossing Notes: Easily rock hopable, ice bridges not there yet.

Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: several dogs out with their human companions. One couple doing a great job command training. There was a consistent spotting of blood throughout the entire trail - not sure if that was dog foot pads, maybe?

Lost and Found: There was a beanie hat on the trailhead sign.

Comments: well broken out. nicely packed down. snow shoes not needed. Micro from beginning to end.

a lot of friendly hikers out there today and even a pack of reindeer hikers. :)
