Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Almost lost my gloves. Do not put anything on top of your car at the end of the day. You'll forget it and drive off. That includes leaning your poles against the car.

Comments
Comments: Crawford Path to Pierce as reported earlier - bare boots. Once you get to Pierce, though, WEAR SNOWSHOES. Especially if you are traversing to Jackson. Returning from Eisenhower to Pierce I met Bob W. who told me he had come over from Jackson and had found the trail broken. The snow in the trail was very soft - like it would have been if Bob had broken it. About 6 of us went Pierce/Jackson today, one a woman who I doubt weighed 100 lbs so she didn't pack the trail much.
Mt Jackson trail is the usual rototilled mess up high. No hope for that one.
Other trail hear-say from today : Bob W was descending Watson Path. Another gridiot I think was Tim M. said he started up the Jewell to Jeff this morning. Found the Jewell essentially unbroken, got tired of breaking trail up high somewhere and turned around. When I met him headed towards Eisenhower he told me he hoped to summit Washington
