Comments
Comments: First one at the trailhead this morning! The trail is mostly packed solid, though any more high temps and direct sunlight could produce snowshoe conditions, especially at higher elevations. Didn't use spikes on the ascent, but utilized micros on the descent, as there are a few precarious spots of thick blue ice. The weather was initially beautiful at 8am, but upon reaching the summit at 10am, it had become socked in. Go figure, when I was about halfway back on my descent, the cloud cover let up. Well, you win some and you lose some, all that matters is that you got out there.
