Comments
Comments: Only car in the Rt 2 lot at 9am and only car when leaving around 1. Didn't see a soul.

Barebooted to the shelter, then snowshoes went on from there. Followed very faint snowshoe tracks to where Rattle River met up with the Kenduskeag Trail. The trail still needs to be broken out a bit, it was hard work, but was grateful to have something to follow. Tracks went towards Moriah. The trail towards Shelburne was unbroken and after going a few hundred feet, decided to turn back after having some issues with my snowshoes. At least 8-10 inches of powder up there. Definitely going to be back, but with an earlier start and a fix to my snowshoe problem ;)
