Comments
Comments: First snowshoeing of the season.

Really a beautiful winter wonderland with the trees laden with heavy snow, although no view from the summits today.

I wore my snowshoes for the entire hike, but probably didn't need to have them on for the first mile or so. There is the beginning of a nice snowshoe track to North Kinsman. Between North and South Kinsman the trail was broken out, but with less traffic and more exposure to the wind with some minor drifting. Definitely snowshoes are the best choice at present.

I only saw 2 other people this morning.
