Nice steady hike to Bald Knob. After the 1st mile snowshoes are needed. The higher elevation snow was more dry than wet so it’s just about perfect snowshoeing conditions. Snow drift right before Bald Knob was waist high. Had thoughts of heading up to Turtleback too, decided against it as the trail hadn’t been broken out yet. Overall, it was a beautiful winter wonderland day. |
