Postholer ahead of us; they turned back around the 3-mile mark |

We used snowshoes from the trailhead to the summit and back. Broke trail for the last mile. The trailhead may look deceptive but snowshoes are absolutely required. Tons of snow at the top, with drifts up to 3 feet. We were sinking up to 18†in parts even with our snowshoes. |
