The major water crossing was fine . We couldn’t really rock hop but with water proof shoes and gaiters we just stepped in a couple inches of water to walk across the rocks and we didn’t have an issue . |

My friend and I didn’t see anyone else all day. , We however followed the foot steps of the only other person who must have hiked it that day, who had to have started earlier than us and gone down a different trail. We wore snowshoes the entire way, as did whoever was on the trail before us. The trail is relatively packed down now from us and whoever was in front of us, but the snow is still very soft and it might be difficult to do without snowshoes. If you’re reading this to determine if you should wear snowshoes , the answer is that you should probably wear snowshoes . |
