I'm not sure why I thought my first snowshoe of the season should consist of attempting to break trail the whole way up Cannon via Hi-Cannon, but, here we are. I made it to about 3,000' feet before admitting defeat and going for a jaunt around Lonesome Lake. There's about 10" of unpacked powder, more in drifts. By the time I left (1pm), mine were the only tracks on Hi-Cannon or Dodge Cutoff. |
