Started out bare booting, put on microspikes around 1 mile point. Frozen leaves, mud, ice until we got to the ledges near the top. Icy flow on the ledges so we cut into the woods to get to the other side. Trail was pretty wet, with several areas where people were creating a side trail to avoid the wet spots. Met people coming up with no gear, no packs, no spikes so encouraged them to turn around, which they did. Nice day on the trail.
